UKCA Marking

The UKCA marking is the product marking for products being placed on the market in England, Scotland and Wales, and applies to most product previously subject to the CE marking. The technical requirements to be met for UKCA marking will depend on the product specific legislation for the product to be marked.

CE Marking

The National Regulations in Ireland, namely, European Union (Construction Products) Regulations 2013 - S.I. No. 225 of 2013, which were signed into law by the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government on 27 June 2013, facilitate the application of the CPR in Ireland providing for inspection of products on the Irish market by Local Authorities.  These Regulations came into operation on 1 July 2013.  The aim of the regulation is to harmonise the safety performance of construction products across the EU and they apply as mandatory
